Welcome back folks. Last time we finished off the Frog at the ruined castle of Camlon. Today, after being on the receiving end of an earthquake, we are headed to Nanai, to the Northeast. Getting there is pretty straight forward, but to avoid any complications or wandering to an area you aren't ready for, I'll give you a quick set of directions.
Since I'm a guy, I'm not gonna tell you every detail. I'll just show you pictures and point. You'll figure it out.

Now that you know how to get there, let's make sure your ready. Head back to Drogen and sell off your old armor and weapons. Then hit the item lady up to buy some basics for travel. You should have a basic load out that looks like mine.
You should have about 300 to 400 GP left, which is just fine. I sometimes advocate a zero balance in the early game, but it isn't strictly necessary unless you want to maximize your survival chances.
Now that you are geared up, head back to Nanai.

Trying to get into Nanai during the day just gets you barred from entry by a pair of Dark Dragon guards. Better wait until nightfall. Head back to the main map and kill some time by fighting. It's good practice.
You'll find Nanai much easier to access with a guard passed out at his post. Guess he was seeing double for a reason, eh? Sneak past sleeping beauty here and follow the instructions in the slideshow to find all Nanai has to offer before entering the Shrine.
Now that you've made it into the Shrine, open the double doors. You can explore up here if you want, but there isn't anything to find.
Head down the stairs and continue down through the next couple of rooms. There are enemies here, but so far they are the same one's you fought at Camlon, just with larger groups.
I'll give you another slide show to navigate the first floor and find all of the treasure chests here.

Head down the stairs to the second level, and keep an eye on your HP. The most popular enemy group here is a gloom and two beaks. Take the gloom out first, since it has the Spark spell that can pack a punch.
Here's a slide show to the treasures.

Check your HP and head down the stairs. A good rule is to use an herb whenever you are around 20 HP, as your max should be somewhere from 51 to 56, and the Herb restores around 40 HP per use.
Once you get down stairs you'll notice that you aren't in the fiery bowels of hell anymore. Head down the stairs and up through the hallway.

You'll see a Knight standing in front of some sort of giant stone slab. Approach him for some good conversation and a peaceful exchange of ideas.
No, he's going to attack you, for disrupting his privacy. Of course he is.

Time for a boss fight. This guy hits hard, dealing around 6 to 8 damage per attack. Start the fight off with the Fire Stone and Bolt Stone back to back. No point in saving them.
The Knight has a few tricks up his sleeve. His basic attack is strong, dealing a solid amount of damage. You should be able to take three or four of them before healing. Once you knock his health down to about the halfway mark, he starts casting T. Bolt, an upgraded lightning spell, that hits for around 20 damage. Thankfully, he rarely does this back to back, but you should still heal after he uses it to be safe.
Knock his health down to the critical level and he casts Cura on himself, he also gets some sort of "Hysterical Strength" which increases his attack power so that he deals around 10 damage per attack. He still uses his T.Bolt regularly as well.
Hang in there and keep healing. Once you get him to say "Aargh" the battle is almost over. You should only need to last another 5 or 6 turns and victory is yours.
After the win, he gets chatty.

Once the Knight explodes, examine the stone slab to find that it is, in fact, the Quake Control.
Once you snatch the key, the world starts shaking like mad. Guess you've activated the Quake control. Unfortunately, there is no going back, as the machine is in high gear.
Head back to the hallway, only to find it barred by a gate, and you'll also hear a strange voice warning you to leave.
Head back to that blinking circle on the ground (quickly, or you will die) to find yourself transported outside of Nanai, a witness to it's destruction.
With that, you've secured the Quake Key. Head back to Camlon and speak to the king, then head down to Drogen and rest.
That's all for now folks. Check back next time for the latest in our quest. Thanks for reading.
