Welcome back faithful readers. Last time we navigated through Aura Cave and found a couple of companions for Nina in the process. Today, we find ourselves on the Karma side of the cave and heading to the town of Romero.
Quickly head due West into town to be greeted to the welcoming sight of a graveyard. How lovely. The welcoming committee tells you that you are, in fact, in Romero and that Karma is west and Agua is north.
Head on into the town proper and locate the shop to sell off some of the extra stuff you picked up. You should also store the Iron Ore you found earlier, and some of the other items if you find it necessary to do.
Once you've cleared up some inventory space, go ahead and talk to some of the people here in town to gather information on what is going on. Check out the slideshow as usual for the shop inventory and any hidden chests.

Having handled the inventory part of this, it's time to talk to the people of Romero. It seems something strange is going on, and once again, the Wizard of Karma is at the heart of it.
Some of the locals report that the women of the town have been taken hostage by the Wizard and that he has used some sort of potion to turn the dead into zombies. Maybe that explains all the people who feel the need to sleep during the day.
While you are exploring, you will see a golden/yellow house with a smoking chimney, enter and you will run into this scene:

Do the predictable and jump down the hole to find a pair of folks hiding under the house. Nothing strange going here, eh?
You'll notice the locked double doors at the northeastern end of the room. We will come back later to get at what is in there. For now, head over to those chamber pots on the floor and shove them around to get to that barrel in the back.
Push the bottom pot left, then the top right pot forward. Push the top left pot to the left and walk up to the barrel. Push it forward and check the spot it was on to find a useful item, the map.

The map is just what it sounds like, a map of the world that you have explored so far. It will fill as you travel and eventually, you'll have a useful item and not a mostly blank piece of paper.
It's like cartography doesn't exist in these games, and you just have to stumble around blindly and fill it in as you go. Fun times.
Now that you have the map, we've done pretty much all we can in Romero. Head south to find a stairwell leading back up to the town. If you want to take a moment to speak to the zombies that live here, wait until nightfall.
After you have everything in order, store some items and exit the town to the west to find a small forest around which leads to the tower of Karma. Head on inside and get ready for this slideshow full of new enemies and treasures.

Do some fighting here until Nina is at least level 7, preferably 8. She learns Attack Up at level 7, which will make the Tower of Karma a lot easier to deal with.
When you feel like you are ready to continue, exit the forest and go to the Tower, which I will detail in the next episode, which will be available next Monday. Even I take breaks for the holidays you know.
Take care of yourselves until then and thanks for reading.
